THE BABYSITTING SERVICE MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

The Babysitting Service was established in the Isle of Man in 2006 by Judy Kelly (BA, NNEB) who lives in Regaby. The service was introduced to compliment the existing nanny agency business the Child Care Service (est. 2005). This unique service aims to provide babysitters for all families Island-wide especially those who are new residents and may not have the support of extended families living on the Island.

What the service offers

We offer membership of a service which introduces reliable, mature sitters to families. There are a variety of membership packages to suit all budgets and needs. The membership options range from an annual membership for those who need a sitter on a regular basis, down to a single booking for a one off special occasion. The service provides babysitters for evenings only, usually from 6pm onwards, although some sitters are available earlier and in the daytime on request.

About the sitters

All sitters are vetted to the same standard as our other agency childcare staff. On registering with the agency all candidates are interviewed, reference checked and have been subject to a standard IOM police vetting check. Registered staff are carefully matched to compliment each family’s particular requirements.
