Consultancy Services for Families


The Child Care Service continues to advise, via Phone, e-mail and website, on all in-home childcare options available for your individual family requirements.

If you have instructed us to source a Nanny/Mothers Help for your family we will provide you with a Current Salary Guide, Interview Question Guidelines and general information.

If you have appointed a child carer through the agency we will provide, as part of the service, a model contract, guide you to a taxation/payroll expert, advise you through the employment of the carer, with regards to Maternity Rights, Sick leave, Holiday entitlement and other legal employment requirements.

If you are a Nanny registered with us we will advise you on your CRB status, registration and provide you with interview tips!


Family Support

We are increasingly finding many families are asking for a more in depth consultation, including

newborn advice,

sleep consultations

responses to challenging family situations.

We are now able to offer support and make recommendations for new parents, families with difficult circumstances such as separation, bereavement etc and children with poor sleep patterns.

Our consultant, Jane Hall has first-hand experience of many of the issues she advises on, and can empathise with your parenting challenges. As a Life Coach and member of the Sherwood Foundation Therapeutic Register she will offer a non-judgmental 'listening ear' and provide practical, down-to-earth support which will include:

A personal meeting in your own home to assess and discuss your family requirements
A full outline of the pros and cons of all situations.
A discussion of all the costs involved.
Written information to assist you with all aspects of your circumstances
We will help you source suitable nannies, nurseries and childminders if appropriate
A follow-up service to monitor your circumstances (and a follow-up report if required)
We will advise you how to access any additional support available.

Jane will speak to you in language you understand and work with you to find practical, no-nonsense solutions to your problems
